2023: A Fearless Year in Review

Timeline:

  • January - February: After much Ancestral altar work, I experienced clear synchronicities that informed me to release people and things that no longer served me, so I did. It's really that simple.

  • March - April: I was obsessed with the Moon this year more than ever. These two particular months, I infused moon water on Full and New moons because a bitch wanted to manifest more. And more I got.

  • May - July: All things nature, including more bon-fires, beach trips with Java, spiritual baths outside, and planting.

  • August: I moved to DC and started class, giving about 15 hours a week to studying to be nationally board certified in health and wellness coaching. School has always been my safe haven, but this shit was a lot given all the other things I was doing. Needless to say, I passed the class and began coaching! Plugging my Lifestyle Consult right tf here. Register neeeeow because yesterday's price is not 2024's price.

  • September: Ya'll, I started a night and weekend gig at Whole Foods working in the Whole Body department as another stream of income to fund these candles and another project I'm working on, and for that good ol' discount. Although its a pretty heavy physical burden, I meet so many amazing people working here and learn a lot about homeopathic health.

  • October: Meet the new Associate Director of Health and Compliance at a public school system here in DC. Its me, ya gworl. I manifested that shit and I'm proud of it. I also started my loc journey. I'm in loooove! I'm obseeeessed, and I don't even feel guilty about it, or whatever tf Rih said.

  • November - December: Rest and Radical Self-Care. I turned 36 this solar return and I feel like it. It took years of work to get here, but I'm blessed, bad, and beyond worthy.

5 Experiences That No Longer Serve Me:

  1. The bare minimum

  2. Interacting with ppl who aren't actively healing. Especially proselytizing Christians (repeat from last year cuz some of ya'll still ain't get the memo)

  3. Making non-urgent things urgent (Bishop Tricia Hersey said to lay tf down)

  4. Not receiving what I'm worth

  5. Accepting inconsistency

5 Lessons I'm Taking Into 2024:

  1. Do whatever tf serves you & release what doesn't

  2. Let people stay mad

  3. Do it scared

  4. Celebrate all wins

  5. Prioritize softness & ease

2024 is my Personal Year 5. This year, I discover my true potential by experiencing new and exciting things. I will accept the unforeseen, keeping me grounded in presence. My word for the year is Ease. Thanking my God for all the blessings. Maferefun Egun to the Good Ancestors for always guiding and protecting me. Blessed year to you and yours.

Love + Light,

Congratulations on your new certification and position. I like the mantra “ease” for 2024! I’ll be taking the 5 lessons and takeaways with me into the new year as well. Thank you for sharing!
